The rise of fast fashion has made it easier and more affordable than ever to replace clothes rather than repair them. However repairing clothes not only extends their life but also fosters a deeper appreciation for our garments and encourages a shift from a disposable culture to one that values quality, craftsmanship, and sustainability.

The Ornament workshop now proudly offers premium denim repairs, alterations and services.

How does it work?

If you need a quick and simple fix you can just select one or more repair kits in our webshop and add to cart.

Repair kits are based on size (in cm) of the damaged part(s)

Crotch repairs (front and/or back!) should be selected separatly

You will see that we charge shipping at checkout, this is of course to send the jean(s) back to you.

If you are not sure what to select, please get in touch via

repairs@ornament-hemp.com in which you specify what needs to be done to your denim piece. Share your ideas! the more we know, the better.

You can include some pictures of the current state of your jeans but this isn't a must.

Our in-house repair artist will get back at you with a repair plan + instructions on which repair kit(s) you have to add to cart on our website. changes can still be made of course.

For example: You have a damaged jean that has:

- rip of 8cm on the left knee

- 15 cm rip on the buttocks (you bike a lot?)

- 5cm rip where your phone sits

- 4cm hole inside your left front pocket

After measuring the rips on your damaged jean you add to cart:

- 1 x medium repair €15

- 1x crotch back repair €30

- 2 x small repair €20

small denim repair (1-5cm) = €10
medium denim repair (5-10cm) = €15
Large denim repair (10-15cm) = €20
Extra Large denim repair (15cm and up) = €25
Crotch front repair/ reinforcement = €25

Crotch back repair/ buttocks reinforcement = €30

Sashiko repair = Pricing based on your ideas (get in touch!)
Patch work = Pricing based on your ideas (get in touch!)

Important: Please make sure to properly wash your denim before sending it in. When we receive dirty denim pieces we will add a surcharge of €30 for a hand-wash.
